Step into the Fishbowl

Strawberry Holiday has always been one of my favorite artists in Second Life. Her colorful paintings and drawings are a perfect blend of child-like wonder and womanly wisdom. She recently took her paintings into the thrid dimension by creating a large installation based on the colors, textures, and themes found in her paintings. The result is a dreamy, colorful, GORGEOUS, 3D experience.

This is also my first bit of machinima film using the Joystick Flycam feature of the SL client. Once you get the hang of it you can create some very smooth panning and zooming shots. I just wish my joystick had one more control pad so that I could change all six axis controls with the same configuration.

Hi Strawberry.

Very cool! It’s like flying through the Art Installation in person! I like the music you applied here, too!

WOWO! I really like this piece, Vlad! Its terrific! Cut it with a few interview clips of Strawberry and you have a world-class piece of work. That being said, thank you so much!!!

Thanks Wendy and Jennifer.

Yes. I need to work on adding some words to my videos. I have made dozens of skateboarding and nature videos in RL, and not a single one has any words. :) Some interviews or documetaries with SL artists would be fun.
