Hi M.D. WOw, those are some great pics. Must be so nice to be able to wander amongst all those ancient giants whenever you like. :) Glad that you liked my virtual versions as well. As most things in SL, they are really approximations that balance the desire for realism and graphical performance. I'd like to make a few more individual sequois sometime, maybe even a model of the famous 'General Sherman'.

Quite artistic.

The redwoods have dominated my hiking time the past few years as you can see from albums stemming from here:

I like the conical top you used - a bit like Giant Sequoia - but cool looking for a coast redwood as well.

Cheers,

The SLURL In the blog post should be correct - it's just that Caledon still uses the TeleHub system. When you Teleport to a spot in Caledon you land at a central location and must walk/fly to your final destination.

After you teleport, look for a red arrow and beam of light on your screen which will show you the way. After Teleporting, follow the railroad tracks to the south. It's just a short walk past a few parcels and you will see the trees on your left.

Hope you can find it. :)

Hi--

I visited the SLURL you gave for the Redwood Forest, but couldn't find it. Granted, I'm new, so maybe am just not good at finding things yet. But could you give a more precise SLURL? I'd really love to see your work!
