I' like to make a VERY GOOD reccomendation to anyone reading this.

Don't texture in Zbrush. Sure, it works, but it's awkward.

Get Photoshop CS4, and you can do full real-time texturing along with ALL photoshop affects directly onto a 3d model...and even open it's texture map image on the spot to do edits and plug it back into the model. Very useful. I cannot believe how much easier it is than what was using before. And frankly, anyone using this method all along has had it FAR too easy..

Jax: SculptyREzzer has, for me anyways, always rezzed fairly small prims. i've gotten used to just selecting the new prims and resizing em right after running em through sculpty rezzer.

when using the new ZBrush 3.5r3 I have been having some other sizing and positioning problems with sculpty rezzer. I've had some success playing with the Scale option in the tools>export palette. This is really the only thing holding me back from making a new zbrush vid about zb3.5. Gotta find a cause or workaround for this glitch.

Hello Vlad and thank you for the great tutorials. I am just learning to use zbrush and upload to SL. A few times I have uploaded maps to SL then used Sculpty Rezzer the actually prim is tiny. What would cause that, and how could I remedy that?

Hi Lucy. Sounds like you're probably using Zbrush 3.5? THere was a small change to smooth brushes in the new version. You have to hold down SHIFT key to access the smooth brushes, or to change their settings. Shift has always done a quick switch to Smooth, but now shift is the only way to access it. You'll see the brush cursor turn blue when you are smoothing.

Dear friends,

Zbrush is truly an awesome program. I really love how easy it is to mold and shape a sculpty for second life. However I am experiencing a small issue that I would like to get resolved soon if possible. I'm slow and am having a hard time understanding what I should do. Only the smoothing brushes are not working. When I click on one to use it will not switch to it at all. Everything else seems to work just fine. I'm not exactly sure what the issue could be because my system I have set up is fairly decent. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My goal is to have a fully functional Furry business by this next year. And there is no other program I'm more comfortable with than Zbrush.
