For the past several weeks I’ve been having troubles with my Blip.tv hosted videos loading a bit slower than usual, so I’ve created a Shiny Life channel on Veoh. Veoh is a pretty cool video hosting service that also includes a desktop application that can function as a sort of Internet TV channel. You can watch the videos on a web page, or download them to your computer to watch them with the VeohTV player. If the problems with Blip continue I’ll go aheas and switch all of the videos on this site to the Veoh hosted versions.

Blast from the Past
I’ve noticed similar slowdowns and hope they don’t become a painfully recurring trouble; I like blip.tv’s visual quality a LOT and have uploaded some vids to Veoh (and the confusingly-similar-sounding Vimeo), but am always looking out for advances.
Have you used http://tubemogul.com before? It’s useful to upload videos to multiple sites (YouTube, blip.tv, Veoh, etc.) at the same time.

Not sure what is up with Blip, maybe some growing pains I suppose.
I’ve just discovered and started using Vimeo for some of my other videos. Vimeo rocks! Great community of creative folks there with a very positive atmosphere. I may start putting my Shiny Life videos there as well. Great video quality (even HD if ya got it), and they allow downloading of the original video file as well.
I’ll check out tubemogul. Would be nice to automate some of that repetitive uploading.
