I’ve written before about how much I love four yip’s SL art, but I was totally blown away today at her most recent show: yipped. It seems that her artistic skills aren’t confined to the virtual space, she paints wonderfully in Real Life, too.
This show is a collection of RL paintings of SL avatars – and such wonderful paintings! Vibrant colors, brush strokes that are loose and expressive but still controlled and defining. Her paintings somehow make the models more real, more physical. My favorite were the portraits of naxos Loon and Ravenelle Zugzwang, both of which included floral accents and lovely color combos. I can’t even begin to tell you how jealous I am of the lucky folks who are featured in these paintings :)
