There is also Hexagon, from Daz Studios. That 3d modeling program has a Sculpty tab built right in and its free to use!, just pull and push points, no adding or subtracting geometry.

They no longer provide support since they stopped updating it. But they do have some tutorials.

And?

I saw this post and spent hours working with the program.
Where'd this "tutorial"? Been months.

Because now that I'm finally done, I try to finalize by exporting, and it seems the ONLY option is pretty messed up and NOT COMPATIBLE WITH SECOND LIFE WHATSOEVER.

No idea why you even recommended this program if it can't export any useful files :)

What a waste of my time

Hmm. Sorry that some are having trouble with this program. I don't know much about it other than my quick tests to check compatibility with my sculpty workflow. If I get a chance I will repeat the tests and make a quick tutorial.

I too could not seem to make this work.

Perhaps Vlad will be kind enough to post a how-to or example of using this program for SL? Even just screenshots of the model in side BS3D and SL along with the textures themselves would be helpful.
